Introduction. The economics scholars agree that investment in education is a competitive advantage. After participating and graduating the “Advanced Summer School in Analyzing Market Data 2013”, the students will gain some formal competences is applied knowledge in Statistics with the IBM SPSS Statistics software. Studies show that the employers seek also practical competences in the undergraduate students, along with the theoretical knowledge.
Aim of the study. The article focuses on a SWOT analysis for organizing a Summer School in order to compose lists of strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. The purpose of the “Advanced Summer School in Analyzing Market Data 2013“ is to train undergraduate students from social-human sciences to gain competences which are valued in the market and a certificate for attendance, to develop an appropriate training program which combines applied knowledge, statistics and IBM SPSS software and to create a „Summer School quality brand” with high-quality training programs for the Faculty of Administration and Business.

Introduction. In public institution the development of the concept of intellectual capital (understand simultaneously as human, structural and relational capital) mean the rise of the organisation`s competitiveness and the beget of structural capital (potential subsequently invested to achieve knowledge), respective the power building-up in efficient action – meaning the consolidation and development of success obtained in competition. The term of intellectual capital add up a sum of values, knowledges, abilities and habitudes of the employees, and also those cumulated on organisational level within what we call organisational culture, the final goal of its evolution being to obtain the optimal managerial efficiency.
Aim of the study. This paper aims to highlight that the adequate exploitation of intellectual capital, obtained through the adequate exploitation of intellectual potential, of the individual and collective capabilities, capacities and performances ale the human potential mean to rich the maximum efficiency of institution. Repetitively application of an adequate management of individual career – materialized through a superior management of intellectual capital – will represent, in the end, an intelligent, creative and performant management of institutions/organisations.

Introduction. The human resources management is extremely important today due to the fact that it offers each and every company the opportunity to evaluate its most important asset, the personal, based on the past and present evolution, while using the appropriate policies, measurements and instruments, as well as by taking into consideration its general rules and regulations.
Aim of the study. This paper aims to highlight the following key aspects: first of all, the notions of human resources management and strategic personnel planning are defined and analysed; second of all, the necessity and the importance of creating and using comprehensive human resources management policies and instruments is taken into account; third of all, a case study done in a Romanian organization is presented, in terms of a quantitative and qualitative analysis; fourth of all, the results of the case study are presented and future predictions are made concerning the situation of similar organizations in Romania as well as in other countries worldwide; fifth of all, the concussions of this research paper are drawn, the limitations are presented and justified and the future research plans are presented.

Introduction. In the multitude of methods and procedures for initiating and implementing new businesses over the past decade, the Lean Start Up methodology also follows the research conducted by IT entrepreneur Eric Ries from 2008. The Romanian economic context after the effects of the international financial crisis revealed an increasing trend, albeit variable, in terms of economic growth and the development of new business and entrepreneurial initiatives. This article aims to highlight the possible impact of the Lean Start Up methodology on entrepreneurial thinking and practice in Romania, both at the beginning of the road and in its continuous evolution.
Aim of the study. The paper first performs a research on specialized scientific literature, then focus on the presentation of the Laen Start Up methodology, on the advantages and limitations of the method in question, and on the implications of its use in Romania. The results of the research result in highlighting a number of possible guidelines and guidelines to follow regarding the application of the method to the newly established enterprises in Romania.

Introduction. Lack of financial knowledge and fair financial planning at the entrepreneurial level are the major impediments both in the start of a business and in its further development, among the major obstacles being the access to financing, which in the case of Romania is among the lower in the European Union.
Aim of the study. With this paper, the author wishes to highlight the importance of financial education in the entrepreneurial field from the earliest stages of starting a business and, on the basis of real observations, to mark the main problems and difficulties that arise in this context. The article is structured by considering a research in the scientific literature, a presentation of Romania Start Up Plus program, an outlook on the particularities and characteristics of the Sud-Muntenia region, and, finally, a close observation and analysis on financial training through Romania Start Up Plus program.

Introduction. Two university events took place in spring and autumn 2019, having the following themes: Sustainable Education & Development in EU28 and Entrepreneurial Student Societies in Romania of the Creative Students. The objectives of the two events were the formation of the student leadership and entrepreneurial skills. Partner in the organization of these two events was a Romanian training & consultancy company which held two workshops whose themes were: transformational leadership and business simulation. In the former event, there was a team decision-making exercise which lay the stress on the leader’s role. The participant students were also administered a career questionnaire. In the latter event, there was a strategy building case-study and company coordination for a whole year. A focus group was also achieved, dealing with how the digital organization and the leader of the future look like. The main issues were certain concepts regarding the difference between a manager and a leader, the roles of the leader, the methods of the team decision-making, the leader’s necessary skills for building of a digital organization.
Aim of the study. The paper describes the results of the two workshops, each event involving about seventy students from more than ten university centers from Romania, as well as students from abroad – Europe and Africa. The research methodology was based on both quantitative and qualitative methods. The romanian academic environment is ready to develop talents in the entrepreneurship and leadership field. Millennials represent a major change in the employment market, and their vision about digital organization and the leader of the future helps companies to adapt their organizational culture to the new managerial profile.
