Introduction. EU’ s 2020 strategy is to integrate creativity, innovation and entrepreneurship in the school curriculum by proposing a set of actions implying all students in entrepreneurial activity with a view to devoping theirs skills needed in business market. Governments should revise the legislation in force by eliminating existing administrative barriers and supporting entrepreneurs in crucial stages of the life cycle of a business; The links between schools, universities and business area should be strengthened in oreder to achieve aims proposed by EU’ s 2020 strategy.

Aim of the study. This paper aims to highlight that entrepreneurial education has an important role in the educational system, having a strong applicative character, as it does emphasize the size of the student’s personality formation act. The purpose of the entrepreneurial education is to promote students’ innovation spirit.

Introduction. The purpose of lifelong learning is to develop the required competencies in order to be permanently adapted and fitted in a continuous changing world. If learners acquire new competencies, they will be able to live more productively and have a better understanding of their own needs and how to better adapt to changes. After attending the training and some barriers are overcome, some learners encounter some changes which refer to a shift in mind and attitude changes, which increase their quality of work and social relationships. Some practical evidence is presented from the report “Implementarea Programului Învățare pe Tot Parcursul Vieții în Anul 2012” from Romania with respect to how some barriers were identified and overcome. Descriptive statistics is presented in a table of data for Romania that refers to persons aged 25 to 64 for the years 2010-2015 who stated that they received education or training in the four weeks preceding the survey.

Aim of the study. The aim of this article is to explore some of the barriers which adult learners ecounter and how to overcome them in the approach of lifelong learning. The literature usually recognizes two types of barriers to adult learning: external or situational and internal or dispositional. When facing internal and external barriers, students are not able to continue their learning. This article explores some reasons which they encounter in reaching their target of learning.

Introduction. There are a lot of factors, both internal and external (social, financial, technological, political, legislative, demographic) that influence the activity of a company. Its adaptability and flexibility are decisively influenced by the entrepreneur’s education, but also by the group he leads and by the innovative spirit that exists at the organizational level. The local and global information flows provide support for the development of businesses that once seemed impossible. The entrepreneur has the capacity to take major risks, to identify opportunities and to ensure the company’s sustainability.

Aim of the study. The paper aims at presenting some aspects regarding the current level of entrepreneurship and the way in which education and innovation influence it.

Introduction. The paper uses the data provided by Flask Eurobarometer 354 to depict the profile of Romanians that were involved in entrepreneurship education, but also to define an index on perceived effects of education in order to link the participation to entrepreneurial programs to the decision of individuals to start-up their own business. The findings on the profile of those ever engaged in entrepreneurship education in Romania points out to the structural inequalities embedded in the Romanian educational system, but also emphasize the rapid extension of the curriculum in this direction. Education is perceived as very important in building up attitudes and knowledge that support entrepreneurial intentions.

Aim of the study. The paper aims to contribute to the better knowledge and understanding on entrepreneurship education and its role in supporting the development of entrepreneurial intentions in Romania. Analyzing the role of entrepreneurship education on influencing decision to of starting up a business is on the rise worldwide, a lot of importance being put on the importance of entrepreneurship education in supporting diversification of careers and transitions from unemployment or inactivity to self-employment. The empirical evidences for Romania, even if they are already addressed by several papers mainly focused on entrepreneurship education in universities still provide a lot of food for quantitative and qualitative analyses.

Introduction. Volunteering is one of the ways to optimize social cohesion, sustainable integration into the labor market, through the creation of the necessary framework for acquiring specific skills and competencies. It will prepare the citizens to face and adapt smoothly to the dynamic changes from the socio-economic environment. The European Union sustain the volunteers by promoting cross-border volunteering and their mobility, in order to develop a European identity, intercultural learning and creativity, by using efficient and effective the limited resources.

Aim of the study. The aim of the paper is to briefly analyze the ways in which volunteering, education and innovation contribute to achieve the European Union objective related to the employment rate. The authors achieved the objective of the paper by using a quantitative method. In the last decades, in Europe, the demand for highly skilled jobs has increased, also directly proportional the employment rate for the people with a high degree of education, endowed with the necessary abilities and competencies for the knowledge society. The paper highlights that volunteering represents an opportunity to gain new competencies and skills, by enabling the transformation of this knowledge into economic and social innovation which leads to productivity and creation of highly qualified jobs.
