Introduction. The appearance of the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted all the current activities of our life, from the daily activities, work, the activities we carry out for recreation, as well as those of care, medical.
Aim of the study. The aim of the paper is to review the discoveries and innovations that have occurred in the time since the pandemic of COVID19. The authors have followed those innovations that have appeared in the medical system and can help the patient in his fight against the disease as well as those innovations that significantly help prevent the spread of this dangerous, uncontrollable and treatment-resistant virus. In the literature review, the authors approached a number of thirteen works published in the literature starting with March of this year. In the future, they would like to continue this article by reviewing the literature in half a year so that we can make a comparison and draw relevant conclusions that will help us to take fair and effective measures to combat COVID-19. The result is a selection of innovations that have appeared in the world during this period.

Introduction. Currently, the States and regions around the world face with several economic, environmental, social challenges etc. The increase in the demand for power supply, for primary resources (agriculture, forestry and fishing), for industrial products and services, sets a significant pressure on the ecosystems sustainability. One of the solutions to support the sustainable development process may be the transition towards the bio-economy, innovative sector focused on the production of biotechnologies and biomass. The bio-economy is the field comprising all economic activities related to the use of biological renewable resources.
Aim of the study. The goal of this paper is to draw the attention on the importance of bio-economy in the effectiveness of the use of natural resources and in the current context of obvious and irreversible climate changes. Moreover, lately, the concept of bio-economy gained the attention of the scientific and political environments, both in Europe and at worldwide level. We can already talk in Europe of a general transition towards the bio-economical field.

Introduction. Volunteering is one of the ways to optimize social cohesion, sustainable integration into the labor market, through the creation of the necessary framework for acquiring specific skills and competencies. It will prepare the citizens to face and adapt smoothly to the dynamic changes from the socio-economic environment. The European Union sustain the volunteers by promoting cross-border volunteering and their mobility, in order to develop a European identity, intercultural learning and creativity, by using efficient and effective the limited resources.
Aim of the study. The aim of the paper is to briefly analyze the ways in which volunteering, education and innovation contribute to achieve the European Union objective related to the employment rate. The authors achieved the objective of the paper by using a quantitative method. In the last decades, in Europe, the demand for highly skilled jobs has increased, also directly proportional the employment rate for the people with a high degree of education, endowed with the necessary abilities and competencies for the knowledge society. The paper highlights that volunteering represents an opportunity to gain new competencies and skills, by enabling the transformation of this knowledge into economic and social innovation which leads to productivity and creation of highly qualified jobs.
