In most economic studies, competitiveness is considered a key issue of the political success\/ failure. A major element which contributes to regional inequalities is the level of competitiveness. This element has been the subject of numerous studies over the past years, even though more attention was given to the national level and less to the regional one.<\/p><p><strong>Aim of the study<\/strong>.
